Arriving in Europe...Day 1

We arrived to London, UK with no issues. It was a rainy, windy cool morning, but we drove to our hotel (The London Edition, see above) and it was very nice.
Our room wasn't ready so we grabbed lunch, and the good news is that lunch was much needed and fabulous, AND we were upgraded twice!
On board Virgin Atlantic
So because we're in London, we HAD to have dinner at Sushi Samba! Love this restaurant so much and it's as much (or more) for the atmosphere and views that the food (which is SO GOOD). It overlooks the Gherkin and has the most unique and gorgeous bar area with this orange lit tree.
The Gherkin is located at 30 St Mary Axe is a commercial skyscraper in London's primary financial district:

Unpacking and getting organized before grabbing an Uber and heading to dinner...
We arrive at Sushi Samba!!!

Cold, rainy and windy = typical London...
One of my favorite dishes here - yellowtail:
Their version of a Pisco Sour! AMAZE!
Samba Sushi special:
AND...my favorite dish that I've dreamt of having again: Sea Bass in a sweet and sour way. It's sublime.
Ubiquitous pic with the tree as everyone was moving outdoors with us for cocktails.
Cheers!
