Headed to the Côte d'Azur

THE FRENCH RIVIERA

 We are headed back to Europe FINALLY!  It's been a few years due to the pandemic, but we are finally about to fly to Europe.  We are meeting friends in Ireland for 4 days then exploring the Côte d'Azur aka the French Riviera.

Here's where we're having dinner the first night in Antibes:

Our itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in London 8:30am. Check into our hotel and stretch our legs. Perhaps go to Harrod's and explore a bit while jet-lagged.

Dinner early at Sushi Samba with fabulous views then finally SLEEP!

Day 2: Meet our friends at Heathrow EARLY and fly to Cork, Ireland.

Arrive to Cork and drive to Old Head Golf Links in Kinsale. Tee time: 2:00pm. Dinner at Old Head, casual.

Check into the fabulous Perryville Hotel. Crash!

Day 3: Guys play golf, and my friend and I explore Kinsale.

Day 4: Helicopter to Hogs Head Golf Club in Waterville, Co. Kerry, Ireland.  Golf at noon.

Day 5: Drive to the beautiful Adare Manor in Limerick.  Guys play round 4 of golf, while my friend and I explore, lunch, shop, have tea.  Dinner at The Oak Room (their Michelin star restaurant).

Day 6: 6AM Departure - - - Drive to Dublin and then fly direct to Nice, France!

Check in to our hotel in Antibes, and then head out to explore Antibes. See Musee Picasso, Port Vauban, the Le Nomade sculpture and walk the Jentier de Tire Poil ( a walk that twists through the Mediterranean vegetation around the rocky beaches of Cap d'Antibes).  See the Garoupe Lighthouse.

Drinks at the rooftop bar (champagne bar) of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc followed by dinner at Le Grill.

Day 7: BOAT DAY

We're renting a boat for the day and going from Antibes to Ville Franche Sur Mer to Beaulieu Sur Mer.  Lunch at The African Queen followed by a hike to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and possibly Eze.  Visit the Villa Ephrusside Rothschild Gardens.

Dinner at Plage Keller.

Day 8: Drive to St Tropez. Stop in Cannes along the way. Lunch at Le Club 55 in St Tropez.  

SHOP!  See Vieux Port.  Pampelonnne - the best known beach and where our lunch place is located.  See Old Quarter of La Ponche and Rue Gambetta and Rue Du General Allad and Avenue Général Leclerc.

See Old Town (lavender soaps, kitchenware) and Old Market Square (Place des Lices for produce - very quaint).

DInner: Le P'tit Cageot

Day 9: Uber or take the train to Monaco.  Lunch at Cafe de Paris.  See the Casino, Port Hercules, Fort Antoine, Musee Ocianographique, and the Palace.

Dinner: La Passagere

Day 10: Head to Vence, and we check into our hotel (Chateau Saint Martin)

Lunch at Le Tillieu in St Paul de Vence. See Musee Renoir and the Matisse Chapel.  

Day 11: Explore the area.  Hike Circuit de Blaquieres trail.  Perhaps visit the fabulous spa here. 

Dinner: La Litote

Day 12: Fly back to the US! 

What am I most looking forward to??? The food of course!  Think
